Through hoops, studs and huggies, Sydney Bledsoe is inspiring girls and women to live loud and play hard. Her story’s chapters are written with generosity, love, compassion and philanthropy. Pip Pop Post started as a passion project that she and her sister-in-law, Janelle Lucero, discussed in 2020. Over the next year, as co-founders they carefully curated the rollout and launched “the most comfortable earrings” — no pokey backs allowed. All the designs are cute and custom, and there is purpose behind the accessorizing! To date, Pip Pop Post has raised over $65,000 from their Purple Heart earrings for the Alzheimer’s Association. MAIN MOTIVATION I am motivated to show my kids and family the potential one person really has. It is very rewarding to see my kids excited to talk about Pip Pop and to share our success with them. I am excited that my kids have my example to look forward to, and to know that anything is possible. PERSONAL GROWTH I went from being a stay-at-home mom to a business owner overnight. I have had to learn the ins-and-outs of running a business while also running my household and taking care of my family. I didn’t know I had the bandwidth that I do, and it’s exciting to see how many things can actually get done in a day! SHARPER SKILLS I have had the opportunity to style, create and direct each of our photo shoots, which has been really fun to learn. Our products are very playful, so it has made this activity one of my favorites. CAREER DREAM I am living my career dream! Running an awesome company with an amazing partner is all I could dream of. We are able to create products together while also building a community where we have met amazing women. It brings me so much joy when I hear from customers who now consider themselves lifelong customers because our unique earrings have given them one less thing to worry about! PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS “Live loud, play hard” is our motto. We try to incorporate this in all aspects of our company. We believe that by having a balance of work and fun, more success will come! MENTOR WINS Mckenzie Bauer (Thread) has crafted an incredible culture within her company and enhances the entrepreneurship community through the founding of Female Founders Only. I was able to travel to Morocco with McKenzie and several others in 2023. This was a turning point in my career. She helped me see my potential, and she set me up for success by introducing me to influential people in the e-commerce world.
