Natalie Taylor

Creative Signs + Graphics | Owner | Spanish Fork | 30

We’ve seen the signs of Natalie Taylor — literally. As the owner of Creative Signs & Graphics, her and the entire team have designed LED displays, signs, banners, wall wraps, mobile signs and other products for local businesses, schools and more. Natalie’s work makes her a constant community cheerleader! In 2022, she and her husband were named Business Education Champion of the Year by Nebo School District for the scoreboards they designed for Spanish Fork and Salem Hills High. At Creative Signs & Graphics, her role is to maintain the integrity of the brand, making sure that everything coming in and going out meets the quality standard of the business they have built. As a company that’s been in business for 24+ years, with 5,000+ happy clients and 40,000+ completed projects, this is a sign that Creative Signs is a community leader.

MAIN MOTIVATION I want to show my children that there are many avenues to success. I hope to teach them to chase their dreams, no matter how far-fetched they seem. PERSONAL GROWTH I’ve had to change my view of what success looks like. Delegating and giving up control is hard for me! I had to learn that trying to do it all myself was actually hindering the growth of our company. As Jack Welch said, “Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is about growing others.” COMBATING DOUBT I’m lucky enough to have my husband as my business partner. Whenever I’m having doubts or feel discouraged, he picks me up. GOOD BIZ ADVICE If you go into business solely to make money it is hard to succeed. If you go into business because you love it, making money is a punishment for being good at what you do. SHARPER SKILLS Skills I’ve gained are embracing uncertainty and learning from both successes and failures. I’m naturally more of a conservative, analytical thinker, but sometimes you have to trust your gut and realize there will be something to learn regardless of the outcome. When was the last time the “worst case scenario” actually happened? It’s rare. Take the risk and swing for the fences. PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS Placing ethics above all else. When you focus on being the best human you can be and treating others the way you would like to be treated, everything else just works out! Ethical conduct forms the foundation of trust, credibility and long-term success.
